Programme
From April 25 until April 29, 2016 Artevelde University College and Karel de Grote University College, Belgium, will join forces for the first time to offer a carefully composed international staff programme. Nowadays internationalisation is a reality in higher education worldwide. This process of internationalisation brings along new challenges for higher education institutions in many different ways. During the COMM’IN staff exchange week we focus on the organisational challenges it brings in the fields of international communication, PR and recruitment.
Institutions may struggle with questions such as ‘How do we brand our institution internationally?, ‘How do we communicate with our international target groups?’, ‘How to recruit internationally?’, ‘How to organize ourselves with a limited budget?’... These questions will be tackled during a one week program of high quality (work) sessions, guidance and speakers.
Participants are asked to pair up with a colleague from their home institution that also meets the requirements of the target group and will be challenged to formulate and develop their personal learning question regarding these topics. There is no participation fee and full attendance is required. All lunches are part of the programme.
